AVX was formed in 2003 in Northern New Jersey. Both Paul Higgins and Scott Krentz came from very diversified backgrounds. A blend of Project management, Engineering and Sales skills brought them together to form a company that would focus on cost effective solutions, with a sense of urgency service. They believed that integrity and solid work ethics would enable them to give customers a sound choice with an honest opinion at the best price. The theory is simple, really care about your customers and make sure their decisions are based on solid information. Never, ever sell a customer something they do not need.
Paul:
Grammy award winning Audio Engineer/producer that has worked for some of the most sustaining music artists in the business. "We are not trying to land a million accounts. We want to be able to service our customers to the best of our ability, not try to get as much business as we can and then figure out how to service them. We put this company together because we saw a need for a difference. Customers were not getting the advice and choices that should be available to them.
We also understand that communicating with our clients is extremely important. Asking the right questions can make all the difference.”
Scott:
Concert Production Manager and Musician that has performed music in the USA and Europe with various bands.” Communication is everything. I used to be in the concert production business and understood that when the pieces of the puzzle were not put together correctly, it cost everybody money. Attention to detail and communicating effectively was what mattered. When I met Paul, I realized not only was he a fine English chap, but he was very effective at communicating with clients and what their needs were. We also shared a very musical background. Me, being a musician and Paul being an Engineer, We both would understand that we had a mix of experience and personalities that really worked for our clients”.
